If you work in the food and beverage industry, you probably subscribe to Food Safety News. It is put out by the folks affiliated with the Marler Clark law firm, one of the leading plaintiff's firms in the country focusing on food and beverage issues. As a primarily defense-side practitioner, I'm not always in agreement with the opinions expressed in the letters to the editor. But this one is hard to argue with. No matter your personal feelings about the acceptability of recreational marijuana use, the growing nationwide trend toward its legalization is undeniable. As far as the opinions in the article about other drugs, let's wait and see.
