The challenge, alongside the virus itself, is the potential public’s hesitancy to get vaccinated due to safety concerns. While several manufacturer’s have shared few severe adverse results, skeptics worry that the accelerated process still puts some at risk. The real question becomes - is that accurate? In the rush to return to normalcy, each of us will try to absorb the information and decide which risk is greater- the virus or the vaccine to protect us from the virus. The world needs transparency in data and outcomes on a global level, and my hope is we recognize that we all have a common enemy- COVID-19.
