I had the privilege of cutting my teeth bike racing at great events like "Superweek" in Wisconsin and later racing for the University of Colorado.  Unfortunately, cycling in the United States has long been a "Closed Circle" in many ways. Much like other areas of our innovation economy, resources, zip code, and other more nefarious factors acted to exclude amazing talent.  

Justin Williams and the L39ion team are innovating and expanding cycling in the U.S. and with Redbull's help, hopefully bringing back Criterium Racing in the U.S.  Stay tuned...
