In an effort dubbed the 8(a) MAS Pool Initiative, the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) have come together to make it easier for agency procurement officials to locate and contract with small, disadvantaged businesses. Starting later this year, small businesses designated as 8(a) MAS companies will be eligible for 8(a) directed awards and competitive set-asides. This joint initiative demonstrates each agency’s commitment to support the development of small businesses in underserved communities. Click here to learn more about this exciting new venture.
