T'was the week before Christmas, when all through the land, EPA got our attention by issuing an interim disposal plan....

The deadline for commenting on EPA's Interim Guidance on Destroying and Disposing of PFAs Containing Materials is fast approaching.  Just a quick reminder that the deadline is Feb. 22nd.  This interim guidance does not address the sticky situation (pardon the pun) of PFAs in consumer product goods -- an economy-wide problem.    

This interim guidance provides a summary of EPA’s current knowledge of technologies for destruction or disposal of PFAS and PFAS-containing materials.
