Take a quick read of my colleague Paul Jones' blog (linked below) from our awarding-winning Venture Best team on the importance of a business plan for start-ups. The quote below struck me. As a law firm, we are constantly attempting to tailor the services we offer to meet our clients' needs. We do that by talking with our clients, understanding their businesses intimately and trying to solve for their problems via our service offerings. We start with the mice (our clients' challenges), and then build the mousetrap (our integrated solutions) often combining legal expertise with our professionals in our Michael Best Strategies or Michael Best Consulting practices.
Reading a description of the technology – it was in fact really cool (for the time) – I noted a comment in the margin: “great mousetrap: no mice.”
