The Federal Department of Energy recently announced the availability of $61 million dollars for R&D funding to advance the deployment of biofuels and renewable natural gas (RNG) into the transportation sector. The Biden Administration has announced that climate and carbon emission reduction is its number one environmental priority. The announcement of funding availability targets deployment of biofuels and RNG to the number one GHG generating sector in the country -- transportation.
